May 1^st, 2007 Abbotsford, BC   The Fraser Health Authority selects CoreXL software to help launch it’s Fraser Health in motion Challenge.

The FHA has been one of the first in Canada to introduce a new interactive challenge to its hard working professionals. They used CoreXL for a corporate virtual race to Panama to address the physical activity goal of their full program. “We had three goals in mind and our Race to Panama mobilized people right away!” stated Wendy Creelman of in motion.

Using the latest wellness tracking technology of CoreXL, sprinkled in with some motivating prizes,  employee teams walked over 20,000,000 steps in the first two weeks of the workplace wellness challenge.  The Fraser Health in motion Challenge was designed to increase employee’s daily physical activity, decrease tobacco use and increase vegetable and fruit consumption.

“We selected the core community software because of the ability to meet our objective, on a very tight timeline, to engage employees with a fun motivating challenge”, commented Wendy.
